Ghostly Authors of Greenwich Village and the East Village 7:30 PM
Join us as we walk in the ghostly footsteps of authors that have become ghosts: Samuel Clemens, Emma Lazarus, Washington Irving, Edgar Allan Poe and more.
The walk is 90 minutes in duration and about a mile in distance.
Meeting Point: This tour departs from Fire Patrol Station No. 2, 84 West Third Street, one block south of Washington Square Park between Thompson and Sullivan Streets, in Manhattan.
Fee: $10 by credit card until June 20; $15 by credit card until June 25; full price by credit card of $20 after June 30; $25 cash.

Fifth Annual Ghost Walk into the New Year from McSorley’s Old Ale House
Friends, you may not see ghostly spirits but by the end of the tour you will be full of spirits!
We will drink at three bars that are haunted or near bars that are haunted. Best of all, the drinks are on us! You must be of drinking age to join us on this tour!
The tour will last about three hours beginning at 9 PM and ending at midnight. We will cover about a mile in our search of spirits, whether of the alcoholic or supernatural kind.
We will start at McSorley's Old Ale House at 15 East 7th Street between the Bowery and Second Avenue. There we will lift a first of our beers before we brave the cold! We will make two more stops to refresh ourselves as we spend extensive times within the bars before braving the cold!
We will explore the ghosts of the Astor Library, the Astor Opera House, Merchant's House, Bond Street, Triangle Shirtwaist Factory, NYU's ghosts, Poe phantom at 85 West3rd Street, Washington Square Park, Samuel Clemens o(Mark Twain)n 14 West 10th Street, ghostly presence of Mayor Jimmy Walker of Gay Street, stop at the Northern Dispensary where Edgar Allan Poe was treated for a head cold, stop at Barrow Ale House next door One If By Land, two If by Sea, take a look at Marie's Crisis where Tom Paine may still spouting revolutionary slogans, and ending at the White Horse Tavern, possibly by way of Chumley's, which unfortunately still has not be repaired.
Additional beers should run about $6-$8 each.
Then we will welcome in the New Year!
Our inclusive fee will be $40 via credit card; $50 cash.
